Credit Card Voice Activation

VoiceWeb's Credit Card Voice Activation (CCVA) enables the activation of multiple types of credit, debit or other smart cards over the phone, relieving users from having to go to the nearest bank or ATM. From their landline or mobile phone and at their own convenience they can activate their card with just a call.  At the same time, banks or Credit Card Processing (CCP) companies can also benefit from reduced operating costs. Instead of using a human-powered call center, the process of card activation is automated using a Speech Recognition enabled IVR system, offering exceptional caller experience and consistent service quality.

Callers are authenticated using a combination of up to 3 of the following criteria, or any other piece of information stored in the customer’s database:
  • Date of Birth
  • ID Number
  • ID Issue Date
  • Passport Number
  • Home Phone Number
  • Work Phone Number
  • Mobile Number

CCVA can be configured to support the most popular card types (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Electron etc) as well as cards issued by several banks simultaneously.

To facilitate the process, the bank’s or Credit Card Processing (CCP) company’s Card Management System communicates with the CCVA service via a predefined protocol (usually web services).
